Weiche Fügung is an ongoing body of work that develops in two parallel directions: as wall-based textile works and as spatial installations. Printed and stitched fabrics are folded, stretched, layered, or suspended freely in combination with more rigid structures. The soft materials respond to gravity, tension, and their specific modes of attachment, continuously altering their form. The works move between surface, relief, and spatial structure, exploring how soft and rigid materials support, constrain, and deform one another. Through these material relations, the work continues the artist’s broader investigation into support structures, care, and the subtle forms of control embedded within acts of holding and preservation.
